Osharecon 2015 report (pic heavy)

So, I made you wait for ever and ever but I decided to finally make the post about Osharecon. Osharecon was held march the 14th in Utrecht, I'm sure you remember I was busy spamming you with this event and after the event I pretty much disappeared :o

Long story short Osharecon was the first Dutch J-fashion con Rox, Dominique and I were engaged in organizing. Well, I helped but I really want it to be known Rox and Do put their hearts and souls into the event, it was a lot of work and pretty stressful at times and I really really want to compliment them on dealing with so much stuff so well!!

As you can imagine I spent the day running around trying to make myself usefull! So I didn't take a lot of pictures myself, but fortunately Miyake Studios took a lot of photos at the event so allow me to give you a bit of an idea of the general atmosphere!!
Credit goes to Miyake Studios unless stated otherwise.

I started the day trying to build up a bit of a photo corner and I got help from the lovely Kyo!!! She is one of the sweetest gals I met in such a long time and I felt really comfortable chatting with her. I am so so so so grateful she came to help out with the event!!

The dealers were preparing their booths and we were all getting ready!

The day started with a performance by Murasaki Mahou and a dance performance from Yosakoi group Raiden. Other performances included a concert by Koi Pendant and, to close Osharecon, a concert by ADAMS. Allow me to give you a bit of an idea of the performances:

There were several Fashion shows, workshops and lectures going on throughout the day. Let me show you a few highlights:

 Shironuri workshop

Nail deco workshop

Lolita fashion show (photos of fashionshows are chosen for composition etc, nothing personal)

 Various Harajuku-based styles show

 VK and dansou show

Gyaru fashionshow

Besides the gyaru fashion show Rox and I were also responsible for the gyaru lecture! I hope it was clear and understandable for the viewers! I Enjoyted chatting abou tmy favourite gyaru styles and I felt like it was nice and casual and the audience was really sweet even though I was rambling!

My look for the day was inspired byy Duras' s/s exhibition pics I saw early in the year. I got the peignoir from my grandma which was a blessing because I had no idea what to wear until I found that! And it was all pretty comfortable and not too hot! I also come up for the Liz Lisa fashionshow once in this old Liz Lisa dress I have, I'm sure you've seen that before

I am really really grateful to Rox and Do for working so hard for this event, and a lot of our friends put in so much effort helping out with lectures and fashionshows!
I want to thank all the performers and photographers. And of course the visitors that kept me going :) People have been so kind and said kind words and that makes me very happy~!

Sponsored Review: Geolica Euro Lady Cobalt blue lenses from Lensvillage.com

I haaave a few posts to catch up with but this is a lens review I owe you guys, I thought these were interesting so please keep reading :) You can see my new hairstyle too :3 if that is not an incentive to scroll down idk~

This time I received these Geolica Euro Lady Cobalt blue lenses from Lensvillage.com! The shades of these lenses are a little less standard and the design is pretty so I was curious!

This was the package, I thought it was elegant and classy and I love that :3
here is the lens itself:

They are 6 month lenses, I find short term lenses to usually be more comfortable~ But sometimes the design is more transparent which can lead to different effects

Let's see this in then :) I did this after work so it is kind of make-up over make-up it was pretty gross~ I re-did the full-face shots recently because the quality was just no good, so you'll see different make-up if you scroll down a little (+ my new hairstyle!!)

One in

natural light

Flash

Indoor light

As with the more natural lenses, they are a little seethrough, that means you can get a halo effect but it also means in my case that...my eyes go from light, to dark, to light again? I am not sure how I feel about that.... if the light hits my lens right I love them and they blend super well with my eyes, but in a little less bright light I feel like my eyes look dark and a little un-defined.. I recommend these for sunny days :o

Blue on blue on blue :3 This is kind of how they look in normal light, I do feel they give the eye an effect and they are pretty enlarging!

The picture below is a little more sunny :D The design comes out really well in te sun, the eyes look defined, I love them like this, but unfortunately they don't always look like this. If you go to the club or something, I recommend other lenses with maybe a thicker design?

Comfort however is pretty good, no problems wearing them at all~
Have some bonus pictures, I was trying to find out what kind of look to pair with these lenses, I went for a icey look first but in the end the blue cardi was the best :3

The verdict for Geolica Euro Lady Cobalt blue lenses from Lensvillage.com:

Appearance
Comfort
Service

I am pretty pleased and I will use them again, they fit my style and they are easy to wear~ But I may mind the light of the place I am going when choosing these lenses :)
